The Danish RPG convention scene seems to have been very different from what developed elsewhere. While there was a lot of variety, the main scene tended to have some aspects in common:
* A heavy focus on system-lite or non-system scenarios.
* Even when rules were used, they were often very simple. I played a few back in the day where characters had things like "Fight guys 50%" and "Educated 75%" and little else. This was not uncommon in some RPG magazine scenarios as well.
* Often focusing on hard choices and moral dilemmas.
* Often an improv / live action component.
From reading old issues of Sinkadus, this seems very different from the Swedish scene, but I'd be curious to hear from people who were around during the time.
