Vitulv: Hur är/var din coolaste dvärg?
Min dvärgtjej Disa i WoW är
lätt den hårdaste dvärgen av dem alla. Här är hennes biografi, om någon skulle orka läsa den:
The early years
Disa was born in Ironforge 38 years ago. Her parents are Harwold II Dawnforge, son of Harwold Ramrider (later Dawnforge) and Hedda Dawnforge, daughter of Embla Stoneshaper. Disa has one younger brother, Trell, who is a travelling huntsman who has little contact with his family.
Harwold and Hedda decided to move to Loch Modan when Disa was just a baby dwarf, to raise her in a less crowded environment than the great city of Ironforge.
Disa had a calm upbringing in Loch Modan where her parents worked as mushroom farmers (with occasional mountaineering duty). She spent most of her time in the wilderness by the Loch and early on developed a interest in fishing and outdoor hiking. As a youngster she often ran away from home and could be found days later at some random mountain station, happily helping the mountaineers in their daily duties. She was a wild child in every sense of the word, but her parents showed great patience. Also, they were confident in the secure environment Loch Modan provided (relatively speaking, of course. Life by the Loch would have been the end of most human children).
In her early teens, Disa grew interested in engineering (and especially explosives). By this age, she also discovered the teachings of the light. She had never been fond of theoretic studies, but suddenly she started to read books and scrolls that her grandmother Embla sent her from the Ironforge library. The texts contained the words of Uther the Lightbringer and other champions of the paladin order.
Interest in the light, and a young widow
At the age of 30, she was sent to a summer camp in Elwynn, where she was first introduced to the Church of Light. They were fifteen dwarven children, from Ironforge, Dun Modr and Loch Modan. It was here she met Cyro who was later on to become her husband. Cyro wasn´t the brightest of lads, but good enough for Disa who decided to marry him as soon as they got home to dwarven lands again. Said and done, their parent arranged a wedding. Since dwarves reach adulthood at the age of 40, Cyro and Disa never had any children. They lived together in Cyros parents house in Ironforge until they both turned 35.
At his very birthday, Cyro dissapeared. Disa learned later on that he had joined a dwarven raiding team to the spire of Blackrock Mountain. Only one of the raiders came back alive and he told the families of the slain about the horrors of Blackwing Lair. Cyro, apprently, had been eaten by a dragon. Fed by the dark lord Victor Nefarious to a black drake.
Disa wasn´t exactly heartbroken, but her dwarven mind was set on revenge (and she needed her husbands remains (or something similar) to cash in the life insurance).
The shaping of a paladin
All said and done, she took her hammer, stole a gryphon and flew to Stormwind. She sat in the cathedral square for a week, day and night, until one of the paladin trainers grew tired enough and decided to take her on. Lord Grayson Shadowbreaker put Disa in a class of paladins and began her training. Since it was allready mid term, he didn´t think she would pass her exams for the first year but she showed great dedication, especially in physical training. She was a slow reader, but smart witted and stout and by the end of the term she had passed all her classmates in terms of paladinhood.
By mid term the following year, Disa decided that she had learnt enough from the Cathedral trainers and left (after great protesting from the priests and paladins). She started to roam the wilderness of the Eastern Kingdoms. She hunted orcs in The Wetlands, cleansed the undeads of Duskwood and ventured deep into the pits of Uldaman. Everytime she felt the need of more training she went to Stormwind and sat in the cathedral square, eyeing the fasade until a sighing paladin came and let her in.
The Azeroth Diamonds
Disa discovered Kalimdor and it was there she met her first true kin, the dwarven paladin Kesrelle. Kesrelle was the archetype of a paladin. Kind of heart and strong as the mountain itself. She and her husband Tolir were travelling adventurers and they embraced Disa as their daughter and sister-in-arms. During the following years they travelled all over the world and engaged in perilous adventures. It was during these travels Disa also met the gnome arcanist Rudolpho and his wife-to-be Shynda, and the druid Teraniel. The small band called themselves The Azeroth Diamonds and great were their deeds and friendship.
Disa was living the life of her dreams. Every day was another adventure and the Diamonds grew rich and famous. They enjoyed the spoils of dungeoneering. But every good thing must come to and end. Kesrelle and Tolir went missing in the burning city of Stratholme, Teraniel went mysteriously missing and Shynda entered the Emerald Dream. Rudolpho (heartbroken) and Disa (hungry for great deeds and dreadful vengeance) decided to walk different paths.
Present day, the Sleepers and the Vanguard
Thus, Disa met the gnomes Cracklebell and Kath. They grew fond of each other and spent more and more time together. Little did Disa know what this friendship would lead to. One day the human Arrain showed up. He recruited Disa to a secret fellowship, one that Cracklebell and Kath was part of. A fellowship that would lead her into the deepest pits and highest peaks of Azeroth, to root out the greatest of evils. At the same time she was also picked up by the paladin Lucas into an even larger community of heroes. Great were the victories that followed together with Disas new allies, the Theramore Compact Vanguard, and greater victories lie ahead.

Disa
Disa is 38 years old. She has short, black hair and large blue eyes. One can tell by her apperance and her body language that she is not yet an adult. She is impulsive and short tempered, as teenage girls are. Dwarven girls in particular.
Disa posesses most of the paladin virtues. She is caring and good-hearted, although harsch where it´s needed. Her largest weakness is her lack of patience and her almost silly stubborness. If you ask one of her trainers, she should also spend more time in the libraries and less in the fields, but it seems impossible to convince her of this. Another thing that disturbs her superiors (and her friends) is the blade Bloodcaller that she found in the ancient Troll City of Zul´Gurub. At one point she seemed so affected by the blade that the order of light was very close to arresting her. They are keeping a close eye on the young dwarf nowadays.
In battle, Disa relies more on her ability to take a beating than any particular skill in weapon handling. She plants her feet in the ground and rarely tries anything spectacular. She is a decent healer and hits like a brick but she really shines when she gets to act punching bag. Her thick armour and shield has many dents, as does her girlish body. She isn´t very sturdily built (in dwarven terms) so her ability to withstand the heaviest of blows amazes many of her comrades and trainers.
Disa has three mounts; The nightsabre Morning, her grandpas ram Frank and her paladin charger, called Dawn. She would very much like to put Frank to sleep, but has promised to look after the mean, old and very smelly creature.
As a paladin, Disa is expected by the Alliance to partake in military actions. She doesn´t nourish any deep hatred for the Horde, but does as she has been told, and only when given orders does she take up arms against Thrall. This has one exception though. The Blood Elves. Disa will show no mercy when it comes to the Blood Knights and she looks upon them with the same hatred and contempt as she does the dragons.
