MSX computers in Sweden?

I was looking through old issues of a Swedish computer magazine and noticed advertisements for a shop that sold MSX games.

Was there a Swedish MSX computer? Did you have one or know anyone who did? Tell me tell me!

Under senare delen av 80-talet hade jag en Spectravideo 728 som min äldre kusin hade haft innan mig. Kusinen hade pysslat med egen programmering men jag spelade bara spel på datorn. Minns särskilt ett spel som hette Penguin Adventure som var gulligt och roligt. Till datorn fanns även en 5,25" diskettstation samt en kassettbandspelare som alltid krånglade.

They came with both cartridge slots and floppy drives right?

Spectravideon hade en inbyggd cartridge-port ovanpå. Diskettstationen var separat, precis som bandspelaren.

I don't think there was a Swedish MSX, but several MSX computers were sold in Sweden. They weren't very popular here, though, the scene here belonged to Sinclair and Commodore, and later, Atari stepped in with the ST.
