Dungeons: the Dragoning is a 2011
game created by LawfulNice in his words “on
a dare”, released on April 1st. It is a tabletop
roleplaying game to end all tabletop roleplaying
games. It is the 41st Millenium, and you
have realized your potential as Exalted. You
may have been cursed by some nightspawn’s
bite, or have been cybernetically enhanced beyond
human capability. Either way you stand
head and shoulder above mortalkind, and are
an inheritor of destiny. Whatever fate shall befall
the Great Wheel surely will be shaped by
your hand.
A mashup between dozens of different
roleplaying games, DtD is all about player
freedom, and maximalist storytelling. No
character concept is too extreme, and no story
line is off the table. DtD is a universe where
Vampires command cathedral battleships kilometers
long, and psykers pilot hover tanks that
amplify their reality warping powers. It is also
a place where the words of a courtier hold
more sway than a legion of boltguns, and long
forgotten Syrneth ruins lie bristling with Artifacts
- tempting the foolish and the brave.
