Hello fellow rollspel.nu-friends!

I think converting from 5e will be ... tricky ... and I would look more to other Free League games, where they use a simliar Monster Attack table for monsters. For example Forbidden Lands.
Having said that, "converting" or rather creating new monsters inspired by other games is easy as pie. Find one that is sort of close to what you want, check the stats for that, decide on the Monster Attacks and loot and pillage these from other monsters or be inspired by them and create new monster attacks.
A good thing is to look at monsters and ask yourself "is my monster more or less powerfull than this monster" and then you will soon find a "range" that can be used to create your monster.
For exampel. Ogres, more or less powerful than a Giant? I would say less powerful. More or less powerful than a Troll? I would say about equal, but the attacks are different.
So a quick try will follow below.
(Note that I'm guessing at the English rules terms, I'm a Swedish backer. Also since I'm winging it, no testing has been done!)
Ogre
Actions: 1
Size: Large
Movement: 16
Protection: -
Hit points: 30
Special: Might abstain from a fight if Convinced and offered plenty of fatty foods.
Typical equipment: Large club with spikes, sacks for putting loot in, huge boots
Monster attacks
1. Crushing blow. 2d6 crushing damage.
2. Sweep of the club. Attack all opponents who are within 4 meter. 1D10 crushing damage.
3. Fist from above. Attack one opponent within 2 meters. 1d10 damage and save for not being stunned.
4. Kick in the groin. 2d6 damage, take a condition and save for not being stunned.
5. Fit of anger. Shouts and screams at all nearby. Save, if not take disadvantage rest of the fight (or roll for Fear maybe)
6. Falling ogre. The ogre throw itself up in the air landing on an opponent adjacent to it. 2d10 damage.
I think it is important to add some colour to a monster. Such as being able to bribe an ogre, and having one attack just being it venting at the PCs.
That adds a lot of fun ... or maybe a lot of mirth!
