Harvey and Bob Weinstein, the brothers who founded Miramax, are to adapt hit film Sin City for the TV screen.
Their new company, The Weinstein Co, will wait for Sin City 2 to be completed before starting work on the TV series.
It is not yet known whether any of the film's cast, which includes Bruce Willis, Jessica Alba, Mickey Rourke, Brittany Murphy, Clive Owen and Benicio Del Toro, will feature in the TV series.
