So you have your Karaktärsdrag on the character sheet but the rules rarely do anything with them. I understand they were meant mostly for roleplay guidance, but having played a lot of Pendragon, some ideas come to mind:
* Use a roll against a suitable value as a sort of reaction roll: If you are trying to appear a certain way or interacting with a culture that rewards a particular behavior.
* When we played Pendragon, I would often have a player roll against a personality trait to see how their character felt about a particular thing. They were free to ignore that (after all, people often have second thoughts or second guess themselves) but it was a lot of fun and occasionally gave people second thoughts about what their characters wanted to do.
What I am curious about is for people who played the older versions of Eon, what did you do with them if anything?
Please note that I am not asking what it says in the rulebook. I've read that. I am also well aware of Eon 4 and how it does things, I'm not interested in comparisons of systems. I am asking about the system that existed before 4
