I checked with a mod and they said it was okay to put this here :)

Any Bundesliga fans in here? What teams are you rooting for?

Im not sure if it is as big in Sweden, in Denmark it is (or at least was) pretty popular and quite a few Danish players go down South to play.

Nix.

As a Spurs supporter Id really want Harry Kane to win the league with Bayern Munchen, or any trophy really. Just to break the curse. I dont support any team in Bundesliga but I have a soft spot for Union Berlin.

Nä, men jag följer egentligen bara min hemstads lag, ingen liga eller utländskt lag alls.

Wolfsburg (men and women) and Mainz in our house. It’s become a bit of a family thing which is nice.

st Pauli has had a rough start. I think they are still adjusting to the tempo and level of the top league.

I believe the thing with St Pauli isn’t necessarily to win (even if that’s nice as well) but to do their thing and stay true to their identity. My hopes are that they can stay in Erste a season or two (or more), but have no illusions that they will end up on top half of the table anytime soon. :)

Match day 4 thoughts on matches I watched:

St Pauli on the scoreboard. A draw against Leipzig is absolutely no shame.

Dortmund got absolutely trounced by Stuttgart. I have no idea what happened. At 1-4 I said to my wife "how much worse could it get?" and they scored again :D

Wolfsburg went 3-4 against Leverkusen. Its pretty rough to start out against some of the top teams, but the wolves go hard every time.

Mainz vs Augsburg was an absolute couch-pisser of a game. Exciting from start to finish.

I also watched Werder Bremen vs Bayern but they got flattened. Bremen had succeeded in locking down Dortmund with a heavy defence, but that just did not work at all against Bayern. Not a fan of either, but I felt bad for Bremen fans, good grief.

Not following really, but watching a game now and then. I watched Dortmund-Bochum tonight. Before that I haven´t watched a game since perhaps a month.

That was a hell of a game to check in on. Absolutely thought Dortmund would choke again.

Wolfsburg - Stuttgart 2-2. Could have been a Wolfsburg win but drawn in the absolute last moment. Stuttgart doesnt mess around and the wolves came out with the counterattack plays.

Mainz - Heidenheim 0-2. Mainz disorganised and nit strong on defence while Heidenheim played a hell of a game.

Följer ligan på avstånd, dvs ser inga matcher men håller koll på resultat och tabell. För min del är det Schalke 04 som är mitt lag, har följt dem i snart 20 år på grund av att jag spelade dem i Championship Manager en gång i tiden.

I know a couple of people who found their favourite teams by playing Fifa :)

For American soccer (MSL and NWSL) and Swedish I watch highlights and check the standings.

With no matches this week, current ranking of "my teams" is that Dortmund fell to 7th after losing to Union Berlin, Mainz played an incredibly tense game against St Pauli and moved up to 10th and Wolfsburg got a win against Bochum bringing them to 12th.

Dortmund plays St Pauli.
Honestly, Pauli kind of deserved to win this one. They went for an odd tactic of sort of playing a sticky defensive blob and relinquished possession a lot, but Dortmund tends to falter when the opposing team doesn't do as expected.
A lot of aimless passing and a lot of relying on just punting it into the box and hoping something happens.

In the end, Dortmund wins 2-1, with one St Pauli goal disqualified for offside. The kid is becoming a St Pauli fan so he was having a rough day.
