There's a kickstarter up for the re-release of Don't Walk in Winter Wood by Clint Krause.

''Don't Walk in Winter Wood is a storytelling game of folkloric fear. Players take on the roles of hapless villagers who must enter a legend-haunted forest and uncover its sinister secrets. The game uses simple rules and a unique narrative style to help you create spooky stories with your friends.

George is the dude with the art, I believe.

I'm slightly interested in this project (if Jason Morningstar's involved, it's gotta be sweet), but seeing this:

$1,200 pledged of $500 goal
25 days to go

... makes me feel I don't really need to get my wallet out. They should've asked for more money.

I'm doing the art, yes.

It's very much like the Village, I'd say. Also Sleepy Hollow and generally creepy rural stuff.

As far as the goal, yeah, it was put low because it's a really small game and Clint wanted to be sure he could fund the print run. Extra money means extra stuff though!
A new scenario (4 in total now) has been added and at the next milestone (1500$) a map will be added.

Also, the t-shirt is gonna be sweet as hell.

Awesome. I'd really like to have that game. But yeah, to put the wallet out...
We'll see... Seems intriguing and very inspiring. And I must say, it looks very nice. I'm impressed so far.

And Krause seems to write nice games. I got Urchin not so long ago. It might be a little to fucked up crazy for my taste, but I can't deny that it's still and intriguing game with lots of atmosphere.

I don't know how you feel aboud pdfs, but yeah, the pdf is basically worth the same as a beer. I think it's a good price point.

That's a good selling point. I for one vastly prefer PDFs to physical books.

I like print myself, which is why I can appreciate cheap pdfs. I've often not bought a pdf or pdf+print bundle because the pdf was like 10$ or 20$.
