KÖPES Fantasy books in Swedish

Cheers. I have a bit of an unusual inquiry perhaps for someone looking to clean out an old bookshelf anyways.

What I am looking for is someone looking to offload some fantasy books in Swedish for decently cheap. Its fine if they are translations of English books or whatever. I will pay for shipping to the United States obviously.
Ideally I am after 4-6 novels but if you have a stack you are looking to get rid of us, Im all ears. Obviously shipping gets expensive so more than 8 is probably impractical.
I already own Swedish copies of Tolkien stuff, so anything other than that.

Its fine if they are pretty battered as long as they are still readable.

Now, I don't know your skills in Swedish, but in all honesty, I wouldn't recommend Svavelvinter as mentioned above (and which I wrote) since it's not an easy read even for many Swedes. I'd actually suggest ”Röde Orm” by Frans G. Bengtsson, which is a classic viking novel, and is translated under the title ”The Long Ships”, so you could cross check the ENglish version as need be. Both versions should be readily available from book stores online. It's not fantasy, but sort of related, not at all a historically correct book but a tall tale.

I can read Lord of the Rings in Swedish but it is a fair bit slower than reading it in English or Danish.

I did see Svavelvinter on an ebook app, so Ill check it out there first to see if I choke on it, though since its a fellow forumite, I may want to get a hard copy anyways

OK, now I saw that you're Danish but living in the US . I know this isn't what you asked for, but Svavelvinter, and indeed the entire series is in fact translated into Danish, and I have a bunch of copies that I don't know what to do with if you'd ever be interested. I probably have paperback versions of the Swedish version as well lying around.

Du har onekligen en poäng och det var mycket länge sedan jag läste Röde Orm. Som ett ovidkommande tips till andra här som gillade Röde orm, så kan jag rekommendera Mika Waltaris böcker Sinuhe egyptiern och Mikael Ludenfot + Mikael Hakim, vilka jag tyckte påminde en del i stilen.
