I am looking to buy a copy of Western.

Prefer older version and prefer English but I am interested in even a pdf copy of the game

I don't think there is an English language release of that game.

Are you looking for Western games in general Boot Hill and "Aces & Eights" are both in that genre.

Thanks for the reply.

No, I am interested in the original version of 'Western'. If there is no English version I thought maybe someone had made a translation they could share as a pdf.

If not I still would like to buy a copy of 'Western' in Swedish, I will find a way to translate on my own if necessary.

Any suggestions of how to get a copy would be greatly appreciated.

Well...

You have an ad here, and I think the user "Han" has a copy but you had left the chat when he replied to your question there.

Also, the website tradera.se is Ebay, but in Swedish, perhaps you can find a copy there.

I am a bit curious as to why you want an early edition of Western though. The mechanics are a bit... unwieldy and slow... (Actually they make Rolemaster seem like a simple lightweight indie game in comparison.) I don't know any gamers these days that prefer the first edition over the newer.

The setting stuff is pretty good, but if you are looking for such info there must be better sources available in English or whatever other language you prefer.

A new edition is set for release this Fall, otherwise you can still find the current version in some stores, seems like this one still has it:
