I am looking through the original Kult and it is of course famous (infamous) for being a bit scattered in its focus with personal horror, spooky demon people...and kung fu and M16s.
Over the years, plenty of fans have insisted that this is playing the game "wrong". But I am here to think about what if people did to Kult as they did to D&D with the OSR:
Forget all the words about what the game OUGHT to look like and look at the game as it exists. We have creepy horror monsters, existential dread and heavy firepower. Now what? Commando meets Jacobs Ladder? Silent Hill by way of Metal Gear Solid?
There are opportunities here.
Sound off.
