Det är också rätt stor skillnad på att vara för Hitler på tjugotalet, på trettiotalet, och på fyrtiotalet. Lovecraft gav upp på Hitler när han hörde om vad som faktiskt hände med nazisterna vid makten.
Sedan är Lovecrafts tankar om ideologi rätt speciella - jämför t.ex. hur de mycket avancerade Great Race of Yith är fascistiska socialistister. Eller Wikipedia:
