We didn't find Eon 3 to be that bad. A bit of book keeping sure, but it's all on the character sheet and the penalties are listed right there.

Eon in general and Eon 3 in particular, where a dagger thrust to the heart leaves you spewing blood and dying without your friends being able to help you, because a bit of first aid can't staunch that amount of blood loss.

That's a fair point. I just came off a year of Hjältarnas Tid so I think Im pretty well prepared there. Appreciate the thought though. The Skill list is quite daunting, but thinking about it, I realized that the only thing that matters is if the specific character has a skill that's relevant.
