Efter Krilles trad om Fornnordiska monster kommer har viktiga varelser till Fafnir:
Unicorn - this savage woodland beast, similar in size and appearance to a wild ass or goat, but with a single vicious horn, tends to guard grooves and meadows in the depth of the Hercynian forest.
Dwarf - these cunning creatures look much like men, except for their short stature and odd, pronounced features. They are noted for their craft and craftiness - whether this be magic or blacksmithing. They often live in caves, hollows, hidden castles and other refuges often underground.
Troll - large, brutish creatures, they make their home in farthest Hyperborea and in deep woods across Germania. Trolls are often jealous of mankind, and tries to mimic and outdo human society in what is invariably a mockery of it. Some trolls are very sage and guardians of anicent wisdoms, others are simlpeminded beasts, blinded by rage.
Giant - much like trolls, but larger. Giants often guard a certain place, cliff or lake. They are forces of nature, and less concerned with the affairs of puny men than trolls are.
Auroch - the native wild bull of the Hercynian Forest, the Mirkwood and Hyperborea. Often farmed with great danger. Its vicious horns and bulk make it dangerous when angered
Ercinee - a magical bird native to the Hercynian forest. At night, its feathers burn like fire. It is also rumored to live in Hyperborea, where it is known as the Firebird.
Dog-head - these savage creatures, the Kynokephali, are human-like but with the head of a dog. They roam the farthest corners of Scythia and Hyperborea. They are know for their cruelty and their large packs.
Dragon - these serpents range from poisonous asps no larger than a grown man's leg through to massive ancient wyrms the size of a longhouse with considerable cunning and intelligence. Some clever wyrms are wrongdoers who's form is a curse to mirror their sins.
Gryphon - far to the east, past Hyperborea, liest a land where Gryphons and Cyclops clash over the gold these half-lion, half-eagle beasts guard.
Revenant or Gaist - whether the corpse of a hanged man, a warrior risen from his barrow or a victim of murder returned from hell to claim his revenge. Revenants often return to the land of the living on certain nights or under certain terms.
